If you have not read the first two posts in this series then you can catch them here, but they are not critical to the subplot of this particular post, because the third and final installment of the Article Marketing Strategies series is really a review of the service I utilise to automate all of my article marketing efforts, Unique Article Wizard.
Why do I use Unique Article Wizard?
The first thing you should ALWAYS ask yourself is the what? What do I want to achieve by utilising this particular service? I have niche sites that I need to sit on the first page of Google. If they don’t sit there they don’t make money – it’s as simple as that, and UAW helps me achieve that.
I use Unique Article Wizard to help get my niche sites ranked on the first page of Google and to help promote a blog post that is either promoting my newsletter or an affiliate link (like I will most probably do for this one). Basically anything that has been monetized will be given the UAW treatment. The user interface and the way it spins the articles is simple and effective, and they produce consistent backlinks everytime.
Disclaimer: I DO NOT use UAW by itself to get my sites ranked. UAW is a fantastic tool to use to automate the process of gaining hundreds of backlinks, but this is coupled with other marketing and link building efforts. I could never expect to achieve success with this business model by utilising Unique Article Wizard exclusively.
How does Unique Article Wizard work?
Unique Article Wizard is an Article Marketing tool that provides the service of spinning your three articles (we’ll get to that) into potentially thousands and then submitting these to directories and sites at a specified daily rate.
Where does this content go?
In a nutshell, the articles (read: backlinks) are sent to hundreds of article directories and thousands of niche blogs and sites. The Article Directories do not include the big 5 (you choose which 5) but do include 100’s of smaller ones; And the ‘thousands of blogs’ are all independently owned sites with the UAW plug-in installed.
Unique Article Wizard Plug-in (free content anyone?)
Unique Article Wizard offers a free plug-in (mentioned in Article Marketing Part 2 here)that allows you to receive free content to your blog or niche site. How it works is through your categories. If you have a category selected then you will receive articles tagged with the same name. UAW has been around for a long time and they are the foremost article marketing service available on the web today, as a result their ‘plug-in’ has proliferated the niche site marketing world creating thousands of sites that can potentially receive YOUR articles. The beauty of this system is that it means you get links from sites with a variety of authority and pagerank. Granted they will not all be Problogger, but they won’t all be PR0 sites either. On that note – the Wizard has very strict guidelines re: who installs the plug-in so that only quality – non spammy sites will potentially receive your article.
I cannot link directly to the plug-in because you need to create an account with them (free, and for quality assurance etc) so just follow the affiliate link anywhere on this page and bypass whatever they throw at you
Less talk, more action
Enough of my carryings on, personally if I wanted to know how something worked I would want to see it in action, so here is my (first attempt) camtasia video.
The Unique Article Wizard Submission process
This Video is about 5 minutes in length and shows the step by step submission process of the Article Wizard. I have chosen to use a niche site that is amongst HUGE competition already, part of a test to see if it was possible, a test that is ongoing I might add
This is also my first attempt at video of any kind (do I really sound like that?!) Enjoy…
Edit since posting…
Anna Haller of Valuable Internet Marketing had some really valid questions in relation to the Unique Article Wizard Service, so I felt it necessary to add them here because I know if it was me I would be asking them too. Shame on me for not including this information originally.
1.) I wouldn’t be able to submit my articles to the top article directories like Ezine Articles with this software?
2.) Would I have to sign up for an individual account with all these article directories?
3.) The three different articles that it creates, are they all unique articles or is the content pretty much the same, just reworded differently?
4.) Does this software give the links that these articles are published to once they get published?
Answers
1.) No, most article submission software has trouble with sites like EzineArticles because they have a very strict reviewing process, and will not accept duplicate content less than around 40% (which is way beyond what Google would consider duplicate* btw) This means that sites like EzineArticles are not included in their submission cycle.
*I still refuse to believe that this supposed ‘duplicate content penalty’ even exists.
2.) No, and this was what sold it for me actually. The moment you enter your pseudonym for that particular article it takes that name and the details in your account settings (like email address etc) and creates the accounts for you. I know this because I am constantly getting emails from numerous article directories telling my alter ego that my article had been accepted.
3.) Sorry if I didn’t make it clearer earlier, but what happens is that it asks YOU to write two more versions of the article you submit, and then it takes these three articles and uses ALL of them combined to spin other copies, which are of course all the same content pretty much. As I show in the video, because you only do a paragraph at a time it makes the process really simple. To get an idea, the more paragraphs you have in your article, the more copies it will be able to spin. 6 paragraphs may result in 3 or 400 copies, whereas 9 or 10 paragraphs will result in 1000 +. Lesson: start writing really really short paragraphs.
4.) I will post a followup video on this soon, but yes, once the articles have been submitted you can not only access a link list of every single page that they appear on, you can also go to Google/Yahoo and find the instances where that page has actually been indexed. It’s great for tracking too!

Having tried a couple of “free 30 days trails” with similar products, I can agree wholeheartedly that UAW is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. The shear volume of backlinks and the way you can adjust them to come out slowly or fast is pretty cool.

Hey Alex,
I’ve been really looking forward to this post – you’ve no idea! The video has done the job – perfect! I understand a lot better now how the whole process works. It makes good sense why you need as many paragraphs as possible too.
Just for you mate – some maths stuff…
If you write 3 versions with 10 paragraphs – that’s 3^10 unique articles – awesome stuff!
I’ll have to speak to you at some length to get some advice on setting up a niche site or two. This tool seems to be the dogs giggle-berries!

UAW is very good, and I was able to rank on page 1, and #2, using UAW. To be honest, I really did use UAW almost exclusively, with the exception of about 4 comments total, left on related blogs. I also used SEO Nuke to get some microblog back links and a few bookmarks, but that is about it (really).
If I recall, I only set the article submissions to 50 per day. I don’t even think that much was necessary, as I chose my keyword phrase wisely. Search volume (according to Google) was relatively high and competition relatively low(ish).
Now, I have dropped UAW and am trying out Blog Blueprint for just a single month, since that’s about how long I used UAW. I think they cost about the same – maybe UAW is $10 more per month. Blog Blueprint boasts higher PR sites, so you need fewer of them.
As with ALL claims, I plan to vet them.
Will let you know how it works out.
Cheers,
Tia

Hey Anna,
Thanks for the questions, I will answer them here, but if it’s OK with you – I might edit the review to include this information – because it’s obviously pertinent!
1.) No, most article submission software has trouble with sites like Ezine because they have a very strict reviewing process, and will not accept duplicate content less than around 40% (which is way beyond what Google would consider duplicate btw) This means that sites like EzineArticles are not included in their submission cycle.

Sorry if I didn’t make it clearer earlier, but what happens is that it asks YOU to write two more versions of the article you submit, and then it takes these three articles and uses ALL of them combined to spin other copies, which are of course all the same content pretty much. Obviously when you rewrite the article originally to the story of the first article.

Thanks for stopping Anna, glad you found the review valuable
Seems like a very useful piece of software. So all it does is to basically submit your articles to article directories? Is that it?
Do you need to sign up for all of these directories before you can post articles?
Thanks for the nice review.

Hey Julius,
Yeah that’s it mate. Very time consuming task writing and submitting around 1000 articles. UAW does this in minutes and submits over time, almost on autopilot.
And the other beautiful thing is that no, you do not have to sign up for the directories at all, accounts are automatically created for you against the name you choose to put as the alias.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting Julius. And break.
Thanks for the video overview Alex – you kept mentioning UAW and I’ve seen it said elsewhere but I’ve always found it best to help determine its value if I get to see an over-the-shoulder look.
It’s looks pretty great overall. The $67 a month is a little iffy for me at this moment in time so what I’d need to do is get a few niche sites up and running – do a bit of testing then push em harder by using it. Seriously going to consider it in the near future because I’ve recently picked up freelancing and I’d love to add link-building as one of the main points.

Hi Alex,
This is such a wonderful review. This is going to be a amazing piece of software. It can make article submission more easier compare to the former of submitting article .
Many webmasters use UAW for their article marketing. The good thing about UAW is that they are not accepting low quality of contents for distribution. They make sure about the right grammar and spelling.

Hello Alex,
Do you add pictures/videos to your articles that you submit to UAW? What are the advantages of doing that, other than making the article more enticing. (Not that we care much about that)
Does it get approved by more directories or? Thanks, Jack

I would like to say something about your quote: “*I still refuse to believe that this supposed ‘duplicate content penalty’ even exists”
I am new to this business and registered a couple domains at a freehosting site, but as I was still in my keyword research I wasnt sure which one to use yet. So I filled in my website called: vakantie-thailand.fillinyourself.nl, and then decided I wanted to change the url to goedkoop-thailand,fillinyourself.nl. After setting up this new URL I landed at page4 of google on that keyphrase.
Then i started to copy all my content from one site to the other and guess what happened, my new site dropped from page4 to page17 within a day. So I removed the old website, and it took about 2 days before Google realised this website was really gone (guess it remained in cache for a while or the robot didnt come by yet). Well as soon as the oldwebsite was really gone my new URL ranked to page4 instantly again cause there was not to be found any copy of this content anymore.
This proved to me the importance of unqiue content.

I recommend trying it out for a few months and if it doesnt give you the results you want then simply cancel.
